We are looking for a passionate and professional Senior Executive Officer to join our Finance team.

 

Based in Singapore and reporting into the Finance Manager, the incumbent will be required to manage statutory reporting with the objective of ensuring effective and efficient finance operations and accurate and timely accounting and reporting within corporate policies and guidelines, as well as statutory/legal/regulatory requirements.

What You’ll Do

  • Financial reporting: You will ensure the preparation of timely and accurate financial reports, facilitate decision-making for business leaders by providing comprehensive financial information.
  • Cost management: You will conduct a detailed review of business costs, engage with business leaders to identify and explore opportunities for cost efficiency and provide insights and recommendations based on cost analysis.
  • Accrual management: ​You will generate and provide an accurate accrual list, collaborate with users to obtain necessary supporting documents as needed.
  • You will provide critical assessment of project budgets and cost projections.
  • You will work closely with project manager to monitoring and updating cost estimates for projects to ensure that costs are within expected ranges.
  • You will coordinate with other departments such as IT, Fiacility management, human resources and finance to ensure that all costs are accurately tracked.
  • You will lead the process of insurance tendering, selecting brokerage services, and facilitating communication between stakeholders in order to safeguard the assets, mitigating risks, and maximizing the value derived from the insurance arrangements.
  • You will review Finance work flow, processes and policies on a continuous basis in order to identify areas for improvements to effectiveness and efficiency while maintaining adequate internal controls within company policies and guidelines.
  • You will perform other duties and responsbilities as assigned.


Who You Are

  • You will need a Bachelor degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
  • You are a qualified CPA or CA.
  • You will need at least 5 years of accounting/finance working experience, with minimum 3 years of audit experience.
  • You should possess good knowledge of FRS.
  • You should possess a strong working knowledge of SAP FICO accounting system.
  • You should demonstrate strong accounting and financial reporting skills.
  • You should be a self-motivated leader and a versatile team player.
  • You should be able to work independently.
  • You should have experience in producing persuasive and engaging written materials to support business objectives.
  • You should have excellect analytical, communication and​ strong interpersonal skills.
  • You should possess strong advance Microsoft Excel skills.
