This is how we care for the community.

Helping to build an inclusive and caring community.
Creating shared values with our community partners.

As a not-for-profit organisation, we are a major source of funding in Singapore's nation-building years. Today, we channel our surplus to Tote Board to fund a wide range of worthy causes in the social service, community development, sports, arts, education and health sectors. We contribute about $2 billion annually to the Government in the form of taxes and duties for the funding of good causes.

From funding the building of iconic infrastructures to supporting the lesser-known local charities, Singapore Pools made possible many of the good we see today.

Funded the building of national infrastructures

Through the proceeds of Singapore Sweep and TOTO, $14.5 million, a very big sum in those days, was raised between 1968 to 1976 to build the National Stadium. Some of the other iconic projects that we have funded include, the Indoor Stadium in 1988, and the Esplanade - Theatres On The Bay in 1996.

Availing our retail network for charity draw ticket sales

Since 2009, we have availed our network of 300 retail outlets for many charity organisations to sell their donation draw tickets. To date, over $1 million has been raised through this channel to benefit various good causes.

Sharing our resources

Since 2007, Singapore Pools has been extending selected second-level units of our branches to provide charity organisations and social-enterprises at their start-up phase with affordable office space.

Helping the disadvantaged

Tote Board and Singapore Pools have been supporting the President's Challenge since its inauguration in 2000, by funding most of its operating expenses so that every dollar raised goes to President's Challenge beneficiaries.
