Friends of Singapore Pools came together at Livewire (Marina Bay Sands) on 17 December 2011 to celebrate the festive season. The highlight of the event was an enchanting performance by the National University of Singapore Society (NUSS) Choir. Guests enjoyed a special evening of networking, festive fare and treats.
The NUSS Choir started in 1998, comprising of NUSS members from various professions who came together to enjoy singing choral music. It has now blossomed into a full-fledged 70-member-strong choir, and has amassed and sung an amazing repertoire of classical, contemporary and popular music, performing in Singapore and abroad.
Livewire is a premium sports entertainment centre, operated by Singapore Pools. Sports lovers enjoy 'live' sporting action on multiple high definition screens. Other events held at Livewire include "Fashion with a Heart", a charity fund-raiser for the President's Challenge 2011; lectures by funky thought leader, Dr Kjell Nordstrom and Dr Justin Menkes; and The Business Times and National University of Singapore Society golf networking parties.
