Tote Board Family Presents "Wonderland of Dreams"

“Wonderland of Dreams” reflects dreams, aspirations and success stories realised with the support of the Tote Board Family. The upcoming Gardens by the Bay and star athletes - Paralympian swimmers Yip Pin Xiu and Theresa Goh who distinguished themselves at the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games; paddlers Zena Sim and Pang Xue Jia (Commonwealth Youth Games 2008); and sailors Koh Seng Leong and Terence Koh (Beijing 2008 Olympic Games) - are featured on the float.

Young Team Singapore Ambassadors, Boy Scouts, Girl Guides, SPHERE Programme students from Anglican High School, Cedar Girls' Secondary School, Hwa Chong Institution, NUS High School, Ping Yi Secondary School, Tanjong Katong Girls' School, Temasek Junior college and Yangzheng Primary School, and staff of the Tote Board Family form the Float's Heart Contingent.

In the Family’s giving tradition, the Heart Contingent led by Singapore Pools Sports School Scholars Gina Lau and Chan Wan Ting and sports celebrities - C Kunalan, Dollah Kassim and PC Suppiah - run the “Race to Give”, presenting members of the audience with surprises from beneficiaries - Football Association of Singapore, Health Promotion Board, Singapore Chinese Orchestra and Singapore Science Centre.

"Wonderland of Dreams" is created by Chong Tze Chien, Artistic Director of Finger Players, a leading theatre company and beneficiary of the Tote Board Arts Fund.
