ComChest's “TrueHearts” charity show which was televised live from the Toa Payoh HDB Hub last Sunday night, 7 June 2009 has so far garnered $3.3 million for charity. "TrueHearts" telepoll lines are open till Sunday, 14 June 2009.

Please call these numbers to make a donation:

• 1900-112-8815 to donate S$15
• 1900-112-8835 to donate S$35

"TrueHearts" is a major highlight of ComChest’s fund-raising programme this year. During the show, the live audience and television viewers were treated to an array of performances by twenty ComChest beneficiaries, supported by MediaCorp artistes such as Jeanette Aw, Dai Yangtian, Joshua Ang and Alan Tern. There will be a repeat telecast of the show on Sunday, 14 June 2009 at 3.30pm on Channel 8.

The cost of TrueHearts and ComChest fund-raising projects are funded mainly by Tote Board and Singapore Pools so that every dollar raised by ComChest will be channelled to social service programmes. With this staunch support, ComChest aims to raise $52.6 million to serve 340,000 children, families, elderly and people with disabilities under 69 charities, to build a life of dignity and hope.

Charity beneficiaries’ art pieces on display at Toa Payoh HDB Hub are also on auction at www. comchest.org.sg till 12 June 2009.
