i-SHINE: Singapore Pools' Staff Community Programme Since its inception, Singapore Pools has played a significant role in enriching community life by channeling surplus income to innumerable charity, community and sporting causes. In the same spirit of giving, Singapore Pools employees contribute to the community by volunteering staff time to children and homes for the elderly under our i-SHINE staff volunteerism programme set up in 2003. |

Talk of goodness is no good. Only to do so is.
Mr. Tan Soo Nan, CEO of Singapore Pools
i-SHINE , which stands for I-Shine in Serving from the Heart and In Nurturing Everyone, is about the value and joy of helping in the community. It is about individual Singapore Pools staff reaching out, lending a helping hand to and doing that extra bit for the less fortunate members of the community. It is about our emotional connection to good causes and doing good work in the community, and making Singapore Pools a great place to work because we, as a company, care. In short, iShine is about creating a “Family of Hearts” - living the community-engagement culture and spirit of philanthropy. |
|
To date, there are six i-SHINE teams and they each chose their own cause and beneficiary.
