With the sun shining brightly on Sunday 22 July 2012, Singapore Pools staff put on their shoes for a 10-kilometre challenge at the National Environment Agency (NEA) 10th Anniversary Charity Run to promote environmental awareness and raise funds for the Children's Cancer Foundation (CCF).

Over 100 Singapore Pools staff and their family members joined some 2,100 participants to take part in a 10-kilometre run and/or a tour of the newly opened Gardens by the Bay with its amazing Super Trees and the inspiring Flower Dome and Cloud Forest conservatories.

Another must-see highlight of the event was the display of 1,324 terrariums, which set a new record in the Singapore Book of Records. Symbolising hope and resilience, the terrariums will be placed by the bedside of children with cancer under the CCF's care, so that they can enjoy nature safely and comfortably from their beds.

Singapore Pools staff are proud to contribute to the NEA's effort of bringing a ray of hope to the children by making 52 terrariums during their lunchtime on 12 July 2012.

Apart from participating in the event, Tote Board and Singapore Pools are also silver sponsors of the NEA 10th Anniversary Charity Run.
