As Singapore Pools celebrated its golden jubilee in 2018, responsible gaming will continue to remain at the heart of how the Company operates as a horse wagering, lottery and sports betting business. It constantly seeks ways to enhance its responsible gaming practices by working with industry partners.

To further this end, Singapore Pools has partnered WE CARE, a social service organisation with expertise in addictions management and counselling, to provide specialized training for frontline supervisors, to enhance their skills in handling customers who exhibits signs of problem gambling.

WE CARE will also lend their expertise in patrons' education and outreach to remind customers to play responsibly at Singapore Pools' outlets. For customers who wish to seek counselling support on their gambling related issues, they will be referred to a WE CARE counsellor.

The Singapore Pools-WE CARE Responsible Gaming partnership was announced by Singapore Pools’ Chief Executive Officer, Mr Seah Chin Siong, at the launch of the Company’s annual Responsible Gaming Training 2018 in October. It marked the 12th year milestone in Singapore Pools’ Responsible Gaming journey.
