Cloud, a non-profit IT company, established as a collaboration between
Singapore Pools and the National Council of Social Service (NCSS) to provide a subsidised suite of social service sector-specific software
via a secure cloud-based platform, was recognized for its support of bringing
digital transformation to the charity sector at
the Microsoft Singapore Partners’ Star Awards 2018 in September. The company is
honoured to be recognised with the Technology for Social Impact award, standing
on the same stage as other outstanding names in the industry.
Launched
by Mr Desmond Lee, Minister for Social and Family Development and Second
Minister for National Development at the Social Service Summit on 24 July 2018,

Cloud aims to improve the productivity, governance and efficiency of the
back-end operations of charities by leveraging on the IT infrastructure as well
as resources from Singapore Pools, thus enabling the charities to focus on
serving their beneficiaries better. Being a leading benefactor in Singapore,
Singapore Pools has continuously been looking for ways to engage the community
and create meaningful impact with its partners.
In his congratulatory message to winners, Gerald Leow,
Chief Partner Officer of Microsoft Singapore, said: “It has been another
amazing year for Microsoft and our partners in Singapore. Winning Together was
the theme of the Awards, and I believe this is the only way we will be able to
achieve more joint successes.
Held annually, the Microsoft Partners’ Star Awards
celebrates the success of Singapore partners as they demonstrate business
performance, competency, and impact in delivering strategic IT solutions to
Microsoft customers in Singapore.
