Giving back to the community is part of Singapore Pools’ mission. Over the years, we have always believed in doing good and playing our part to help build strong and cohesive communities.
Together with Kreta Ayer-Kim Seng Citizens’ Consultative Committee Community Development and Welfare Fund, Singapore Pools supported the launch of Project Green Shoots to top up the Child Development Account of 350 children from low-income families under this programme.
The contribution of $122,500 will also be matched by the Ministry of Social and Family Development and a total of $245,500 will be given out. Each child’s account will receive a $700 top-up, which will provide immediate relief to meet the education and medical needs of these children.
Mr Lam Chee Weng, CEO of Singapore Pools, said: “By providing these financial top-ups, we hope to empower families in building financial stability, while enabling a better and brighter future for the children.”
