SAF FC have been crowned champions of the S.League for the third year running, following their victory over archrivals Home United on 14 November!
The 1-0 result at Jalan Besar Stadium was enough for them to gain an unassailable advantage at the top of the 12-team league table, rendering the final round of games purely academic.
SAF FC’s league success, their seventh in the competition’s 13-year history, comes at the end of a long and exhausting season where they have had to fend off challenges from familiar foes Home United and a much-revamped Super Reds team.
They are now on course for their second consecutive double as they prepare for the Singapore Cup final on 21 November, where they face Woodlands. |
