When can I start claiming prizes at all outlets?

You will be able to claim prizes at all outlets, regardless of the type of ticket you hold, sometime in the second half of 2020.

I didn't have a problem claiming prizes while you were upgrading, why now?

As systems are upgraded progressively, more outlets will have the new systems installed over time that are not compatible with the tickets generated from the previous versions. The outlet that you've claimed your prize then might not have been updated yet.

I am told I can no longer claim at the outlet I have purchased the ticket from. What should I do?

If that is the case, you may refer to notices at the outlet for the nearest branches, or check here to find out which outlets closest to you are available for prize claim, depending on the type of ticket you hold.

Why is a longer wait expected? Will this be permanent?

During this period of the new systems launch, we may experience some teething issues, and seek your kind understanding as we work toward minimising any inconveniences caused.

How long will this upgrade take?

Implementation will be carried out over a few months to outlets island-wide.

Why is there a change in ticket design and prize claim arrangements?

We are upgrading our systems to serve customers better. This includes a change in sales terminals across the outlets. During this period prize claim may not be available at all outlets as implementation is carried out progressively.

Will the systems upgrade affect how I place my bets at the outlets?

No, you may proceed with your bets as usual.

Why did Singapore Pools decide to change sales terminals now?

This is part of the ongoing systems maintenance to provide upgraded services to customers.

What is the difference in ticket design?

During installation period, tickets issued from the new system will have an additional sentence to point customers to more information of prize claim online. After the installation period, the additional sentence will be removed. There are other cosmetic changes to the ticket including font type which should have minimal customer impact.

When will the systems upgrade take place?

New sales terminals will be installed at the Singapore Pools Main Branch (210 Middle Road) as early as Jul 2019. Subsequent installations will be carried out over the next few months to other outlets island wide.

Will tickets bought from the old terminals be recognised on the new terminals, and vice versa?

Tickets bought from the old terminals will not be recognised on the new terminals and vice versa.

How do I identify if the outlet has been equipped with the new terminals?

You may check your tickets and the available outlets for prize claim before heading down.

Can I purchase horse racing bets from outlets with the new terminals?

Can I use NETS payment for horse racing bets?

No, payment by NETS is not available for horse racing bets.
