SAF FC WINS 2007 LEAGUE AND CUP TITLES!
SAF FC successfully defended its S.League title with a 2-1 win over Gombak in the last match of the season at the Chua Choa Kang Stadium on Wednesday, Nov 21. They edged Home United by a point for the title.
SAF FC then went on to score a double winning the Singapore Cup beating arch rivals Tampines Rovers 4-3 in the final at the Jalan Besar Stadium on Sunday, Nov 25. Tampines were the holders of the Cup.
The 2007 S.League season ended on a thrilling note with three clubs in contention until the last match. There was only a difference of one point separating SAF FC, Home United and Tampines.
In the final matches, Tampines beat Albirex 3-1 to take third spot two points behind the champion.

Closely fought three-way battle marks the rising standard of S.League.
