KOREANS TALK THE SUPER TALK

Little is known about the new boys of the S.League, except that the Korean Reds come from a land famous for their guts and industry on the pitch.

The squad is relatively young, with an average age of 21, and is guided by three K-League players in defender Choi Sang Koon (Cheonbuk Hyundai Motors), midfielder Kim Tae Hun (Chunnam Dragons) and goalkeeper Kim Ji Soo (Incheon United).

Super Reds chairman-coach Hong In Woong is a familiar face in the S.League as he was the technical advisor to Sporting Afrique last season.Although he didn’t manage to change Sporting’s fortunes, the Korean believes he has enough information on most of the teams to predict bravely that his young side are capable of a top-three finish this season.

And as we all know, aiming high is always easy, but getting there is always a different story.
