We are passionate about helping the social
service sector level-up their digitalisation journey and to harness its
benefits to improve their back-office processes. Most Social Service Agencies
(SSAs) face challenges in improving productivity and social service delivery
due to their inability to adopt and use Information and Communications
Technology (ICT) well in their back offices. They are also facing increasing pressure to
secure their IT systems and personal data from cyber threats. Coupled with high
costs of ICT equipment and services, lack of readily available professional advice
and expertise to manage their IT investment and infrastructure - most SSAs lag
behind in their digitalisation journey.
To address these challenges and enable the SSAs to help others better,
Singapore Pools worked with the National Council of Social Service (NCSS) to
incorporate a Company Limited by Guarantee, named iShine Cloud Limited (with no
commercial interests), to offer integrated sector-specific IT solutions at an
affordable rate and enable the SSAs to achieve technology-assisted
productivity gains for their back-office processes.
Launched
at the Social Service Summit on 24 July 2018, iShine Cloud aims to
improve the productivity, governance and efficiency of the back-end operations
of SSAs, thus enabling them to focus on serving their beneficiaries better. To
