The beneficiaries of this year's Football With A Heart (FWAH) had a unique opportunity to pitch for their share of donation dollars at the FWAH 2013 Pitch & Fix on 25 July 2013 at Livewire (Marina Bay Sands), which was graced by Guest-of-Honor, Mr Zainudin Nordin, President of the Football Association of Singapore.

At the event, nine beneficiaries – AIN Society, Apex Harmony, CARE United, Caring Fleet Services, President's Challenge, Society for the Aged Sick, Society for the Physically Disabled, Singapore Children's Society and SportCares Foundation – explained their causes and showcased their programmes to 38 corporate donors. The corporate donors then decided which beneficiaries and the amount they will support for each, out of the sum they had contributed to this year's fundraising target of $400,000.

Through this special platform, FWAH organisers hoped to help the beneficiaries hone their pitching skills and raise their standard of communication to potential sponsors. The donors themselves received a deeper understanding of the help they are giving to the beneficiaries.

With FWAH Tournament fixtures also announced at the event, all corporate teams will next meet on 24 August 2013 at the Jalan Besar Stadium where more than 700 executives will play for charity and the title of FWAH 2013 Champion. Teams will also battle it out for the FWAH 2013 Challenge Bowl and Plate sponsored by Starhub and Asia Pacific Breweries respectively.
