Singapore
Pools’ flagship fundraiser event, Football With A Heart (FWAH), will be
returning to Our Tampines Hub again this year. The 6th edition will
be held at Our Tampines Hub on 9
November from 9am. Minister for Culture, Community and Youth, Ms Grace Fu will
be the gracing the event as Guest of Honour.
FWAH
is Singapore’s largest executive charity fundraiser organised by Singapore
Pools and supported by iShine volunteers, Singapore Pools’ staff community
programme alongside the Football Association of Singapore and Sport Singapore. The
charity fundraiser uses football as a force for social good.
Since
its inaugural edition in 2012, 87 corporate sponsors from various sectors have raised
over more than $3 million for beneficiaries.
FWAH
is aiming high this year to raise funds for 8 beneficiaries, namely President’s
Challenge, SportCares Foundation, Singapore Children Society, Campus
Impact, Metta Welfare Association, SHINE Children & Youth Services, RSVP
Singapore and Society for the Aged Sick.
