About Community With A Heart 2025

This year, Singapore Pools brings the spirit of Community With A Heart to life through the flagship event - The SG60 Heart&Soul Experience - jointly presented by the Ministry of Digital Development and Information (MDDI) and the National Library Board (NLB).

The public is encouraged to share their heart and soul with loved ones or newfound friends through the Windows of Time photobooths available at four locations. Each photo will become part of our shared journey into tomorrow.

For every photo taken, Tote Board and Singapore Pools will pledge $1 (capped at $500,000) to support charities dedicated to championing mental wellness through Community Chest.

Funds raised will go towards several charities focused on supporting mental wellness, including:

About SG60 Heart&Soul Exhibition

The SG60 Heart&Soul Experience celebrates and weaves together Singapore's past, present, and future. Located at Orchard Library and Level 1 of orchardgateway and Orchard Central, this showcase harnesses the power of generative AI to create uniquely personalised adventures for every visitor, making each journey through the exhibition distinctly meaningful. As the SG60 flagship event, it is a celebration of Singapore's 60 years of independence that connects Singaporeans to their shared heritage and aspirations.

From the team that brought you The Bicentennial Experience and SG50's The Future of Us, Heart&Soul invites visitors to explore how we live, learn, work, play, and care. Through interactive moments and insightful encounters, visitors will discover their place in Singapore's continuing story and contribute to our nation's collective vision for tomorrow.

Community With A Heart 2025 Beneficiaries

Children's Aid Society (CAS)

Established in 1902, Children's Aid Society (CAS) is amongst Singapore's oldest secular philanthropic organisations. Through our two services, Melrose Home and Melrose Care, we provide residential care and specialised therapies to support children and youths who have experienced adverse life circumstances such as abuse or neglect. Our services seek to mitigate the impact of these circumstances so that the children and youths have better outcomes in terms of mental health, educational attainment and can engage in healthy relationships with peers.

Club HEAL

Club HEAL was formed in 2012 by a group of like-minded individuals who have a strong passion in helping people with mental health conditions regain confidence in themselves and work towards community reintegration. Club HEAL also supports and enables their families to provide better care during their recovery journey. We promote healing and recovery by inspiring Hope, Empowering lives, fostering Acceptance and spreading Love. Our services include day recovery activities, counselling, home visits, public education, support groups and volunteer training.

Mindfull Community Limited (Formerly known as Caregivers Alliance Limited)

Mindfull Community is the go-to organisation providing accessible, stigma-free, and empowering mental health support so that everyone can achieve lasting mental wellness. We are a safe, nurturing space where individuals can talk openly, find support, and access the right tools and resources to build resilience.

Through peer-led support groups, caregiver education and empowerment programmes, and community, we empower everyone -whether affected directly or indirectly - to thrive and navigate life's challenges with strength and hope. Mindfull Community was formed in January 2025 with the combining of Caregivers Alliance Limited (CAL) and Resilience Collective (RC) to strengthen mental health recovery support in Singapore.

Singapore Association for Mental Health (SAMH)

Established in 1968, the Singapore Association for Mental Health (SAMH) is Singapore's first mental health social service agency, serving youths, adults, and seniors. SAMH offers a comprehensive range of rehabilitative, outreach, and creative services designed not only to support individuals with mental health issues but also to promote mental wellness for all. Through various initiatives, SAMH enhances mental resilience, provides essential support, including reintegration efforts, and focuses on preventive care. Committed to improving lives and nurturing minds, SAMH strives to build a more supportive and inclusive community.

What is Community With A Heart?

Community With A Heart (CWAH) is a digital fundraising campaign by Singapore Pools that rallies customers, staff, and the public to do good together through simple, meaningful actions. The first edition of CWAH was launched in 2023 to celebrate Singapore Pools' 55th Anniversary. Hosted on interactive screens at selected outlets, the campaign invited customers to plant virtual flowers representing causes they cared about. For each flower planted, Singapore Pools pledged $1 (up to $250,000) to Community Chest, with each pledge matched by Tote Board. The campaign concluded in November 2023 after achieving its goal of 250,000 flowers planted. Funds raised went towards supporting Allkin Singapore, WE CARE Community Services, and Samaritans of Singapore Limited (SOS), helping to uplift vulnerable individuals in our communities.

Following its success, the second edition of CWAH was launched in May 2024 in conjunction with the Paralympic Fiesta. This time, participants sent virtual hearts via interactive screens at 17 Singapore Pools outlets and through mobile devices. For each heart sent, Singapore Pools and Tote Board pledged a combined $2 to Community Chest in support of inclusive sports for persons with disabilities. The campaign surpassed its $500,000 target four months ahead of schedule. Beneficiaries include Cerebral Palsy Alliance Singapore, Equestrian Federation of Singapore, Parabowls Singapore, Singapore Disability Sports Council, Singapore National Paralympic Council, and Special Olympics Singapore, empowering athletes and individuals with disabilities through sport.
