Founded in January 2019, Access is a Singapore-based social mobility charity that creates meaningful career exposure opportunities for students.
Many young people have the ambition to succeed, but may not always have access to professional networks, career guidance, or opportunities to learn directly from industry leaders. Access bridges this gap through early intervention programmes that help students explore different career pathways, expand their networks, and build the confidence to pursue their aspirations.
We work closely with leading global and local companies such as Google, LinkedIn and *SCAPE to provide mentorship, industry exposure, and career guidance for students across secondary schools, junior colleges, and institutes of higher learning in Singapore.
MINDS has been caring for Persons with Intellectual Disability (PWIDs) and their families since 1962. Grounded in the belief that all PWIDs have innate abilities and talents, MINDS is committed to empowering them and enhancing their quality of life, while advocating for greater inclusivity for PWIDs as a nation.
Today, MINDS is one of the largest charities in Singapore, serving close to 10,000 PWIDs and caregivers. With the key focus to expand community-based services, improving the employability of PWIDs, strengthening education, and engendering inclusive community living, MINDS offers a holistic range of services and programmes across the PWIDs' lifespan. These include schools; regional, community and satellite hubs; home-based care services and community-based services to cater to the physical, psychological, environmental and social needs of PWIDs and their families
MINDS | Empowering lives of persons with intellectual disability
RiverLife Community Services Ltd (RCS) was established in June 2007 to serve the community, regardless of race or religion. We believe that every family deserves the opportunity to thrive and seek to support underprivileged families to build resilience, restore hope, and strengthen community ties in Singapore.
What began as a modest youth centre in a void deck in Sengkang has since grown into a community touchpoint for low-income families, mothers, youths and children across Pasir Ris, Tampines, Sengkang, and Punggol. Today, we continue to journey alongside our families through practical support, workshops, and compassionate care, so that every child and every family can look to the future with confidence.
At *SCAPE, we're more than just a space – we're a youth-powered movement. Driven by youth, for youth, and with youth, our mission is simple: to inspire and empower young people to be the best versions of themselves. We connect creators, trailblazers, and changemakers through bold programmes, vibrant spaces, and dynamic collaborations with partners, brands, and communities. Right in the heart of Somerset, *SCAPE is where youth culture in Singapore is shaped, celebrated, and amplified. Whether it's igniting creativity, sparking entrepreneurship, or driving real social impact – we're all about purpose, passion, and progress.
*SCAPE is a non-profit organisation, a registered charity, and an Institution of a Public Character – but above all, we're here to turn youth potential into boundless possibilities.
Established in 2012 as the philanthropic arm of Sport Singapore, SportCares is dedicated to empowering participants from vulnerable backgrounds, including children and youth at-risk, isolated seniors and persons with disabilities and special needs, by providing them with opportunities to experience the transformative power of sport.
SportCares mission is to use sport as a force for social good, leveraging on the power of sport without boundaries to provide access and opportunities for vulnerable and marginalised communities.
SportCares also aspires to seed a spirit of philanthropy through sport within its network of corporate partners and foundations.
Tasek, a charity with IPC status, aims to uplift those among us who are disadvantaged, and to develop and evolve circles of mutual support in the community. We walk alongside youth and individuals with disadvantage, supporting their self-development to strengthen belief in their own worth, which continues to grow as they in turn are empowered to contribute to others. We run carefully crafted and intensive programmes, from engaging the young - from early childhood to tertiary years - to helping ex-inmates to rebuild their lives.
Established in 1996, Youth Guidance Outreach Services (YGOS) has been empowering youths within the community for nearly three decades.
We are a non-profit, faith-based organisation committed to ensuring that every young person who comes through our doors receives the care, support, and guidance they deserve.
YGOS provides holistic support through a range of programmes, including school social work initiatives such as mentoring, after-school engagement, and smoking cessation support. We also operate youth drop-in centres that offer safe spaces and reduce exposure to negative peer influences, as well as diversionary programmes for youths requiring early intervention. For those in need of deeper support, we provide rehabilitative services, including structured reintegration for young offenders.
Our mission is to cultivate hope, resilience, and purpose in every youth, empowering them to integrate confidently into society and contribute positively to their communities.
