We are looking for a passionate and capable Senior Manager to lead the team that delivers programmes that uplifts communities, connects people and bring new capabilities to the social service sector.
Based in Singapore and reporting to the Senior Director, the incumbent will build the Community Partnerships team into a high-performance and effective team.

What You'll Do
- You will lead a team to execute projects under the key community pillars and assets-based community giving, with ongoing process improvements and change initiative
- You will manage the resources of the team to build a high-performance and effective team, including staff development, backup and succession planning.
- You will collaborate with Communications HOD on narrative for each CP initiative/projects with event details and with the objective of providing timely and effective external communication.
- You will co-lead the Retail Stakeholder Engagement Task Force (RSET) with the Channels division to enhance relations with key community stakeholders.
- You will co-lead the Information Management Team with Communications HOD for Singapore Pools during crisis situations, requiring full spectrum of crisis communications support.
- You will cover Senior Director, Community Partnership & Communications for Community Partnerships in his absence.
- You will formulate, lead and manage initiatives and strategies for relevant HODs and departments, team members and stakeholders on the full spectrum of Community Partnerships.
- You will expand existing stakeholder engagements and strategise new stakeholder partnerships, together with team members for groups like Government, Grassroots, Advocacy Groups, Non-Profit Organisations (Social Service Agencies, Religious Groups, etc.), Academic Institutions, Sports, Social Enterprises, Arts and Music Groups, Associations, Societies and Corporates.
- You will deepen engagement of stakeholders to mitigate operations and brand disamenities, strengthen community impact and garner stronger support for Singapore Pools' activities, including Singapore Pools' commitment to environmental sustainability.
- You will develop and manage corporate and community partnerships to external audiences as well as outreach efforts, in support of Singapore Pools' business, products and initiatives to position Singapore Pools as a socially responsible organisation.
- You will conceptualise department yearly workplan and budget, monitor and track department budget utilization and KPIs.
- You will set out the objectives, project scope, manpower plan, budget and timeline for each project roll-out.
- You will identify and decide on the appropriate stakeholder engagement plan and level of community branding, to maximise desired branding and / or social impact from the event or project.
- You will tap on relevant departments with Singapore Pools, community partners and corporate contacts, where possible for synergies and collaboration opportunities.
- You will manage vendors / partners and ensure compliance to external regulations and internal guidelines, policies, processes, systems and / or governance structure required for the respective project.
- You will track progress and overseeing concurrent project tasks from pre- to post-stages of execution.
- You will provide guidance to team members' day-to-day operations and issues, including vetting of written work, project planning, reports submission, collateral productions, event coordination, stakeholder feedback, etc.
- You will coach staff to maximise their individual performance and potential, conduct performance appraisals, recommend training and development areas.
- You will keep team members informed of happenings and directions from SPPL management so that timely implementation of decisions can be made to projects under their charge as appropriate.
- You will develop and review internal work processes to raise operational excellence and productivity.
Who You Are
- You have a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences or related discipline.
- You have a minimum 10 years of relevant experience in community relations or corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
- You have strong business acumen and keen intellect.
- You have the ability to build strong internal and external relationships, and be a part of an action and goal-oriented team.
- You have an exceptional understanding of the social and charity landscape.
- You have outstanding organisational, diplomacy and time management skills.
- You have excellent oral and written presentation skills.
- You have excellent command of English, written and spoken.

Singapore Pools was established by the Government on 23 May 1968 to provide safe and trusted betting to counter illegal gambling. As a not-for-profit organisation, all of Singapore Pools' surplus is channeled to Tote Board to fund a wide range of causes in social service, community development, sports, the arts, education and health. Currently, Singapore Pools contributes about $2 billion annually to the Government in the form of taxes and duties, and for the funding of good causes.
