Singapore, 26 April 2026 Weekend With A Heart 2026 brought together families, youths, corporate partners and community organisations at the National Stadium over two days of football, esports and community activities.

Organised by Singapore Pools in collaboration with Football Association of Singapore and Sport Singapore, and supported by Tote Board, the event centered on the 11th edition of Football With A Heart (FWAH), Singapore’s largest executive football charity initiative.

This year, FWAH raised a record S$1.28 million, its highest amount to date, with support from 58 corporate sponsors and partners, reflecting strong collective support for youth-focused programmes across Singapore.

Mr Lam Chee Weng, Chief Executive Officer of Singapore Pools, said: "Football With A Heart has grown into a meaningful platform that brings people together through football for a shared purpose. Weekend With A Heart builds on that by extending the experience beyond sport, bringing together digital engagement, community participation and youth-focused activities that reflect the interests of today’s generation."

Football and Community on Day One

On Saturday, 25 April, 56 corporate teams competed across eight pitches at the National Stadium in Cup and Plate categories, with Mr Jeffrey Siow, Acting Minister for Transport and Senior Minister of State for Finance, attending as Guest of Honour.

A highlight was the charity round-robin featuring Team Parliamentarians, Singa Legends, Mediacorp and Singapore Pools Select, bringing together public office holders including Mr Edwin Tong, Mr David Neo and Mr Alvin Tan, alongside football legends Mr Fandi Ahmad, Mr Malek Awab and Mr Lim Tong Hai. The friendly matches saw Team Singa Legends emerge champions, with a cheque of S$100,000 presented during the event, contributing to the overall S$1.28 million raised this year for youth-focused programmes.

Organised by Sport Singapore, youth matches were also held across the Under-18, Under-21 and Women’s Open categories, with the Women’s Open newly expanded to welcome women of all ages.

Youth Carnival and Esports on Day Two

On Sunday, 26 April, the focus shifted to youth engagement through TeleMatch: Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, which brought together hundreds of youths on the stadium pitch.

Organised with COMEBACK, a social enterprise focused on healthy gaming and digital wellbeing, the tournament combined live esports action with messages around responsible play and balanced digital lifestyles.

The day also featured youth performances, sports try-outs, carnival activities and community booths, with programmes contributed by partners including Singapore Children's Society and EB Impact. Day Two was attended by Ms Low Yen Ling, Senior Minister of State for Culture, Community and Youth and Trade and Industry, and Mayor of South West District, as Guest of Honour.

Supporting Youths Across Singapore

Funds raised will support six youth-centric beneficiary organisations: Access, MINDS, RiverLife Community Services, *SCAPE, SportCares, and Youth Guidance Outreach Services, whose programmes span mentorship, inclusion, education support and outreach.

Ms Sophia Lim, director, Strategic Communications and Engagement, MINDS, added, "Platforms like Football With A Heart send a powerful message to our youths and families that they are valued and included in the community. Sport has a unique way of shifting perspectives, allowing our youths to be seen not through their disability, but as teammates and athletes, just like anyone else. We are especially encouraged by the strong community support, which will go towards programmes that benefit youths and families and contribute to a more inclusive society."

Across the weekend, attendees also took part in a wide range of activities across community play, sports and showcase zones, including football clinics, air badminton, netball try-outs, inflatable play areas and interactive booths by community partners. Together, these elements reinforced Weekend With A Heart’s broader aim of creating shared spaces where sport, play and participation can bring communities together while supporting meaningful causes.
