Singapore, 18 November 2021 – Singapore Pools is rallying volunteers to distribute free StayWell mouth gargle at 25 selected Singapore Pools branches island-wide from 22 November to 12 December 2021 between 10am and 5pm daily.

Over 8,000 volunteering hours will be committed towards this initiative. Staff volunteers from Singapore Pools, together with volunteers from Ministry of Finance, Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA), Accountant-General’s Department, Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS), RSVP Singapore The Organisation of Senior Volunteers, Singapore Customs, Singapore Turf Club, and Tote Board, will staff collection booths outside the selected branches to handle the distribution of mouth gargle.

Temasek Foundation is providing every household with mouth gargle, to help everyone stay safe, especially with the emergence of new and more infectious COVID-19 variants. The mouth gargle that will be distributed, contains povidone-iodine (PVP-I), an active ingredient that is effective against a wide range of germs, including those that cause sore throat.


Interested households can register by sending "hello" to WhatsApp 9099 6600 or going online at stayprepared.sg/staywell-register to book their preferred date, timeslot and location to collect the mouth gargle. Residents must provide their SP residential bill or account number and email or WhatsApp confirmation at their selected collection point for verification purposes.
