​This year marks the 55th anniversary of Singapore Pools. Since our inception in 1968, Singapore Pools' mission unchanged - to provide safe and trusted betting to combat illegal gambling. Over the years, we have evolved rapidly to keep our games relevant while creating a secure and responsible gaming environment for all.

"It is necessary to recognise the existence of gambling and to place it on a legal footing so that those who by nature are inclined towards betting can do so without breaking the law. At the same time part of, the amounts paid as stake monies can be utilised for the benefit of the citizens of the Republic."

We have a stake in Singapore and the community we serve, and we constantly work towards creating meaningful impact and connections to foster and build caring and inclusive communities. With every dollar spent at Singapore Pools, the monies remain in Singapore with 70% going towards prize payouts, 27% towards benefiting Singaporeans and funding for worthy community programmes through taxes and our surplus, and our operating expenses are kept low at 3%.

 

As we arrive at this important milestone, we cannot look ahead without recognising the contributions and dedication of everyone who has played a role in Singapore Pools' journey. Our 55th anniversary emblem encapsulates our continued push towards sustainability and for community purpose and benefit being the key to our success.
