We are looking for an experienced Digital Quality Assurance Lead to join our Technology Architecture & Policy team.
The incumbent will define the strategic direction for both DevOps and Digital Quality Assurance and provide expert technical guidance on the planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of all DevOps and Quality Assurance activities, ultimately driving efficiency and excellence across our digital initiatives.

What You'll Do
- You will establish overarching strategies for DevOps and Digital Quality Assurance, ensuring alignment and continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
- You will develop common business-specific quality measurement frameworks, create metrics, reports, and dashboards to track improvement, and report on quality-related outcomes to leadership.
- You will consult on and implement strategies to improve test efficiency and reduce test cycle time through standardized test cases, data, automation, and code/test coverage analysis.
- You will provide expert guidance to the test team on designing and implementing testing tasks.
- You will also manage, coach, and mentor the team to meet performance targets, fostering a high-performance and collaborative environment.
- You will develop comprehensive test strategies for DevOps, facilitate automated testing throughout the lifecycle, embed risk-based testing, and maintain/provision cloud resources (preferably AWS) for test workloads and cloud-native initiatives. This also includes maintaining our on-premise Kubernetes clusters and DevOps tools.
- You will enforce corporate and department standards, policies, and guidelines within the team.
Who You Are
- You have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related IT discipline.
- You have a minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in DevOps and/or Quality Assurance, with a significant portion in a leadership or lead role on large-scale projects, preferably within a complex environment similar to Singapore Pools.
- You have strong practical knowledge of software testing concepts, quality standards and procedures, and relevant DevOps tools and practices.
- You are proficient in various SDLC methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and process management.
- You possess strong test analyst skills, including writing high-quality test specifications (plans, cases, scripts, data) based on accurate business requirements, and the ability to perform root cause analysis for issue resolution.
- You have hands-on experience with DevOps/CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Nexus, SonarQube) and test automation tools (e.g., Selenium).
- You have experience in implementing container solutions (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
- You are skilled in troubleshooting test environments, diagnosing and resolving issues, and utilizing tools like JIRA and Confluence for reporting, categorizing, and tracking issues.
- You have excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders.
- You are able to work independently as a strong self-starter while also collaborating effectively with diverse teams.
- You have proven ability to take strong initiative, build consensus, and cultivate robust relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Possessing certifications in Software Quality Assurance, Cloud (AWS preferred), or experience with Application Security scanning tools (SAST, DAST, OSS) are a plus.
