  • How can I deposit funds to my account?

    You can deposit funds through bank link, PayNow, eNETS or by cash or NETS deposit at Singapore Pools branches.

  • Is there any fee to deposit funds?

    Deposit method that do not involve any third-party service are free of charge such as using cash at Singapore Pools outlet. Deposit method involve a third-party service come with a fee.

  • How do I withdraw funds from my account?

    To withdraw funds instantly, you can do it from your account by bank link or PayNow.

    Alternatively, for Prize up to $5,000 you can opt for cash withdrawal request (up to $5,000) by logging in to Singapore Pools and proceed to any Singapore Pools branch.

    For prize above $5,000, you can submit a cheque withdrawal request and proceed to Singapore Pools Main Branch.

  • How long does it take to withdraw funds from my account?

    Instant transfer to your bank account, through bank link or PayNow.

    For cash (apply only to prize up to $5,000) and cheque (apply to prize above $5,000) withdrawal, you need to submit a withdrawal request in Singapore Pools account and bring along your NRIC or an official document containing your FIN within 48hours to Singapore Pools branch. For Cheque withdrawal, prize collection can only be in Singapore Pools Main branch.

  • I am a Singaporean. What ID documents must I prepare to be presented during cash/cheque collection?

    Any of the original photo identification bearing your name and identification number. Document can be NRIC, Singapore Driving License, Passport, Senior/Adult Concession Card or SAF 11B/SPF/SCDF ID.

  • I am a foreigner. What ID documents must I prepare to be presented during cash/cheque collection?

    For Cash Withdrawal, you can provide any official document containing your FIN.

    For Cheque Withdrawal, you can provide any document containing your FIN and an Original photo identification (e.g: passport) which should bear your name and identification number matching your bank records.

  • I have just increased my deposit limit, why I am still not able to deposit funds into my account?

    For both website and mobile app, increase in deposit limits takes effect 24 hours after your submission. Reduction of limits takes effect immediately.

  • How do I set up a bank link for Singapore Pools Account?

    Nominate a personal DBS/POSB, OCBC and UOB bank account which is not linked to any overdraft facilities.

    You may set up bank link online through Singapore Pools account if your bank account is registered using the same ID number as your Singapore Pools account.

    If you are not able to set up bank link online through Singapore Pools account, please download and complete the form.

  • How do I set up a bank link for Singapore Pools Account via Singapore Pools Website?

    Nominate a personal DBS/POSB, OCBC and UOB bank account which is not linked to any overdraft facilities.

  • What is bank link? Is there a fee for using it?

    Bank link connects your bank account to your Singapore Pools Account. With Bank link, your funds can debit automatically from your bank account when SPA balance is insufficient for a bet placement, instant deposit and withdrawal.

  • What is Auto-Debit?

    Auto-Debit is a Bank Link feature to enable funds from your bank account to be transferred to your Singapore Pools Account when it has insufficient balance to fund an attempted sports or lottery bet. This feature is currently not available for Horse Racing bets.

  • How to enable/ disable [Auto-Debit] feature?

    You can enable Auto-Debit after bank link has been activated for your Singapore Pools account. Login to your Singapore Pools Account and select Deposit on the left navigation on website or Deposit on the [Account] tab on mobile app.

    Select [Auto-Debit] tab and you can enable/ disable the feature by product.

  • What happen if I were to disable [Auto-Debit] feature?

    When your Singapore Pools account has insufficient balance, your attempted sports or lottery bet would not be automatically funded from your bank account. You would need to top up your Singapore Pools account before placing a bet.

  • I have set-up Bank Link previously; do I have to enable the [Auto-Debit] feature?

    You can enable Auto-Debit after bank link has been activated for your Singapore Pools account. Login to your Singapore Pools Account and select Deposit on the left navigation on website or Deposit on the [Account] tab on mobile app. Select [Auto-Debit] tab and you can enable/ disable the feature by product.

  • Why can't Singapore Pools absorb the bank transfer fee?

    This fee goes to third-party service providers and administrators of the service. If you wish to avoid a fee, do cash deposit at Singapore Pools branches.

  • How do I change my bank account for bank link?

    You need to terminate your existing bank link before you can set up a new bank link for your desired bank account.

    Please note that only a personal account with DBS/POSB, OCBC and UOB with no approved overdraft facilities will be accepted for bank link., you can download and submit the termination request here.

  • Can I use a credit card to deposit funds?

    Deposits using credit cards is not allowed.

  • Why can't I use Auto-Debit to pay for horse racing bets?

    Due to system constraints, the Auto-Debit feature is not offered for Horse Racing bets currently. You may select other deposit methods to top up your Singapore Pools account before placing a horse racing bet.

  • How do I terminate bank link?

  • What is the maximum bank link transfer limit for deposit and withdrawal?

    Each bank link transfer is subject to a limit of up to $200,000 per transaction (including transaction fee). For deposits, the transfer is also subject to your Monthly Deposit Limit.

  • How long does it take for bank link application to be approved? How will I be notified?

    If you are setting up bank link online through Singapore Pools Account and your online banking service, you will be notified of the application status immediately upon successful online submission.

    If you are mailing the Application for Direct Debit Payment Authorisation Form, processing time will be about 14 working days and you will receive a SMS upon activation of bank link.

  • How long will it take for funds to be transferred after I have submitted a bank link deposit or withdrawal request?

    Bank link transfers, both deposits and withdrawals, are instant.

  • Why can't I deposit funds/place bets from my account? There is an error message, [We have temporarily disabled Bank Link (FAST) services for your account, as you have reached the maximum number of attempts]

    If you encounter the above message, your Bank Link service has been disabled due to unsuccessful attempts. You may wait for the service to enable after an hour or perform other deposit methods such as eNETS or PayNow.

PayNow QR deposit and withdrawal

  • What is PayNow QR deposit? How does it work? List of participating banks?

    Singapore Pools Account customers can use PayNow to instantly deposit from their bank account into their Singapore Pools Account. Scan the QR code generated on the deposits page with any PayNow participating bank app.

  • Are there any charges to use PayNow QR?

  • Why is my Singapore Pools Account balance not updated after PayNow QR deposit is successful reflected at my bank account?

    Deposit to your Singapore Pools account may be pending or may be rejected due to:

    • Failed Account status check

    • Exceed Deposit limit

    • Duplicate transaction (Attempt to use same QR code more than once)

    For Rejected PayNow deposit will be refunded to account holder's designated bank.

    To check on deposit or refund status, click under [My Account] > [Transaction History] > [Deposit] > [Payment or Refunds].

  • How long do I need to wait for refund to my bank account for rejected deposits?

    Singapore Pools will process it immediately, but the amount may take 3 to 5 working days to be refunded to your bank account.

  • Why are my deposits rejected? Will I incur any fee for rejected deposits?

    Deposit to your Singapore Pools account may be pending or may be rejected due to:

    • Failed Account status check

    • Exceed Deposit limit

    • Duplicate transaction (Attempt to use same QR code more than once)

    Rejected PayNow deposit will be refunded to account holder's designated bank. There is no fee for rejected deposits.

  • How do I cancel the QR codes generated?

    QR codes that have been generated cannot be cancelled. Please wait 10 minutes for the expiry of the QR code.

  • Why are funds deducted from my bank account but not deposited to my Singapore Pools account?

    Deposit to your Singapore Pools account may be pending or may be rejected due to:

    • Failed Account status check

    • Exceed Deposit limit

    • Duplicate transaction (Attempt to use same QR code more than once)

    Rejected PayNow deposit will be refunded to account holder's designated bank. The deposit may be pending.

  • Can I use major payment institutions (Example: GrabPay, liquidpay, Singtel Dash or Xfers etc) to make payment for QR code?

    You can only use PayNow via PayNow participating banks.

  • How long is the PayNow QR code that I generated valid for deposit?

    The generated PayNow QR code must be scanned within 10 minutes. Login to designated bank app to import or scan before expiry. If it is expired, please generate a new QR code.

  • Can I re-use PayNow QR more than once?

    All QR codes are only valid for one-time use. Please generate a new QR code if it has expired or if you wish to make another deposit.

  • What is the Maximum and Minimum amount for PayNow QR deposit?

    The Minimum deposit is $1, and the Maximum deposit amount is $199,999.00 (excluding transaction fees), in multiples of $1.

  • How do I adjust my bank PayNow limit?

    Please contact your bank for more details on adjusting your PayNow limit.

  • What is PayNow withdrawal? How does it work? List of participating banks?

    PayNow Withdrawal is an electronic funds transfer service to transfer funds from Singapore Pools Account via PayNow to your designated bank account linked to your NRIC/FIN or mobile number. The same NRIC/FIN or mobile number used must be the same as that registered for Singapore Pools Account.

  • My Singapore Pools Account is registered using my FIN number but my Paynow is registered under my NRIC. How do I update?

    Please contact Customer Service at 6786 6688 or submit a form here to update your personal ID number.

  • Can I withdraw to another bank account not linked to my NRIC/FIN/mobile number?

    You may only withdraw to your PayNow bank account registered in the same NRIC/FIN or mobile number following your Singapore Pools account.

  • Funds were withdrawn from my Singapore Pools Account but have not been transferred to my bank account?

    The withdrawal may be pending. Please check your transaction history for details.

    To check on Withdrawal status, click [My Account] > [Transaction History] > [Withdrawal].

  • How do I change the PayNow bank account linked to my NRIC/mobile number?

    Please contact your PayNow participating bank for assistance.

  • What is the Maximum and Minimum withdrawal limit for PayNow withdrawal?

    The Minimum withdrawal is $0.11, and the Maximum withdrawal amount is $200,000 (including transaction fees).

eNETS

  • What is eNETS? Is there a fee for using it?

    eNETS enables internet banking users to make real-time payments from bank accounts. Participating banks include DBS/POSB, OCBC, Standard Chartered Bank and UOB. Deposit amount must be at least $100 and in multiples of $10.

  • How will I know if my eNETS transaction is successful?

    Upon a successful eNETS transaction, you will see an acknowledgment page from eNETS. Exit by selecting [I'm Done].

    You will then see an acknowledgment page from Singapore Pools.

  • Why can't Singapore Pools absorb the eNETS fee?

    This fee goes to third-party service providers and administrators of the service.

    If you wish to avoid a fee, choose cash deposit at Singapore Pools branches.
